Thought I'd pop in and say hi! Its a bit quiet around here isn't it??
How's pepper these days, and doobrey?
hello..
BP - sometime guardian of Doobry the Thingite wolf Posted Jan 29, 2006
Hi kitush! Thanks for popping in!
Doobry is great, but he's very sad that I have to go back to school tomorrow after having been off for about three weeks for study leave and work experience. And get my results back.
How's the... er... axe?
hello..
BP - sometime guardian of Doobry the Thingite wolf Posted Feb 13, 2006
Aw, poor you! Have a toilet brush.
I'm not too bad. I think I'm getting a sore throat though, which is a bit rubbish. Plus it was my friend's granny's funeral today, so that was slightly depressing. Oh yeah, and it's Valentine's day tomorrow. If it weren't for my birthday, I would hate February. But it's half term next week so that kind of makes up for it.
*Must... focus... on... positive...
Focuuuuus...*
hello..
Kitish Posted Feb 16, 2006
Im sorry about your friend's funeral. *hugs you*
And valentine's day is just another day. It was created by the smug couples to make singletons look bad and feel lonely...I reckon it was invented by some mothers who were getting fed up with their children remaining single, so thought by creating such a day, their children would feel especially lonely on that day, so would make more of an effort....but im just strange!
Toilet brush are very useful devices methinks. They make the world so much cleaner. Where would I be without my trusted toilet brush!
So hows the bid to become a lawyer? (sorry - i did lurk for a while on your conversation with galigan! Sorry...) If you need any advice or help or anything, then feel free to ask me. I know im just a mere 23 year old, but I might be able to help you out on stuff - the whole been there, done that thing!
hello..

I'm now ill. And for some reason my mother thinks it's because I didn't get any Valentine's cards which is just about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, and she's coming all parental on me.
I'm going to a law conference tomorrow, which should be very boring. Ah well. It's half term next week! No more school! And my birthday! Life isn't bad after all.
Are you still at uni then or what? My maths isn't very good or I would try and work it out.
It's OK, I don't mind friendly lurkers (*looks around paranoidly*) as long as we didn't freak you out.
hello..
Kitish Posted Feb 16, 2006
awww...the stress of no valentines day cards
Being ill is horrible...Law conference sounds...lawyerishy!
I have left uni, and am now working. However, I have to resit some exams to fully pass my masters, so yay(!)
hmmm...well if you get too paranoid..use the toilet brush!
hello..
BP - sometime guardian of Doobry the Thingite wolf Posted Feb 17, 2006
But you have the toilet brush now!
The law conference was actually quite good. Lots of unis gave us prospectuses (prospecti?) and a solictor's firm gave out free pens and mouse-mats. Hooray for cheapness!
No-one's beat Cambridge yet though; they gave us a free four day trip there and paid for all our flights and accomodation.
Where did you go to uni? And what did you do? (if you don't mind me asking)
hello..
Kitish Posted Feb 17, 2006
I went to two unis...LSE for my UG, and Imperial for the rather failed masters.....didn't do law! Did stats type stuff instead at UG level, and some computing stuff for the masters....
hello..
BP - sometime guardian of Doobry the Thingite wolf Posted Feb 18, 2006
Sounds fun...
Well, both those unis are automatically out for me because I absolutely refuse to go to London. I hate the place. *Shudder*
hello..
Kitish Posted Feb 18, 2006
awww....T'is not that bad! Ok granted, I might be biased, given my life for the past 5 years has involved London, and my boyfriend, and all of my friends are there.....
Where are you thinking of then?
hello..
BP - sometime guardian of Doobry the Thingite wolf Posted Feb 18, 2006
Well, I'd really like to go to Oxbridge, but I have a feeling I won't get in. After that I have a long list of ideas, including Durham, Dundee, Warwick and Bristol. Oh, and Queens in Belfast and Trinity in Dublin. So for the next few months I get trips all round the country to visit all these wonderful places. I've already been to Cambridge, it was amazing. And they paid all our travel and everything for us. What nice people.
hello..
Kitish Posted Feb 18, 2006
ahhh wonderful places all of these
Plus you get to travel - great fun! I never went to visit any unis....hmm...Ah well. Think I was more concerned aobut going to uni, rather than what it was like. My parents were also more into get into uni, and its for academic purposes so doesn't matter what it looks like etc......
hello..
BP - sometime guardian of Doobry the Thingite wolf Posted Feb 21, 2006
It was great! I got a driving license and an MP3 player, and we went out for dinner to a really nice restaurant. And today my friend (whose birthday is tomorrow) and I are having a joint party.
Danke? Do you speak German? I do it for A-level. In fact, I'm meant to be writing a German presentation on the 2006 world cup at the minute. *Procrastinates*
hello..
Kitish Posted Feb 21, 2006
yuck.. I did it for GCSEs. Twas enough for me. Not sure how I managed to get an A* for it......
hello..
BP - sometime guardian of Doobry the Thingite wolf Posted Feb 21, 2006
