chat about wolves

....are wolves related to foxes?
....have loads of urban foxes around here, can usually see 3 or 4 in my back garden at night, sadly a very mangy one died there a little while ago.
....was wondering about wolf/fox conection as foxes seem to go around in packs here like wolves, although maybe an urban thing as foxes in wild seem to be solitary.

Wolves are a member of the Canine family

.....it's still interesting to have a large wild animal like a fox in urban enviroment, although they are not as majestic as wolves.

.....it was a short bit about author Michelle Paver who wrote Wolf Brother book. Around 4 times a year she goes to visit a place in reading that has 5/6 wolves, they do some sort of research.....she seems very keen on wolves, sorry can't remember name of place in Reading
