The last four months have been pretty quiet LW wise, mostly because he's spent most of them either on pre-mod or suspended.

In fact the 'bullying' (which, incidentally I can't find any evidence of in the 'h2g2 is Going Downhill' thread) has been pretty low for about the same time. Most people just ignore him now.

I agree that some of what's been said to LW has been unjustified (especially posts by Boxing Baboon and The Southern Belle), and most of us 'bullies' actually came to LWs defence in the face of what was childish and unnecessary.

Apart from those Researchers mentioned above (and maybe one or two others) nobody has ever 'bullied' LW without a reason. If he comes into a thread and posts on topic and sensibly he is either ignored or responded to appropiately (depending on the preference of the individual). However, in the several cases where he's been deliberately disrupting a thread (such as the Penis thread, and 'Petty Hates') despite repeated polite requests not to any and all 'bullying' has, to my mind, been perfectly justified.

If you like I can find the evidence although it will take time as LW's MO in the last six months seems to be 'spread chaos and then unsubscribe'.

It is not a matter discrimination against LW. The transgression procedures which are being used are the result of LW continuing to break the <./>HouseRules</.> after a considerable amount of official warnings from the Editors.

As LW unsubscribes from conversations he has posted in, it is difficult to witness when and where he breaks the House Rules, but he does.

I mean that I've seen you post stuff against LW without good reason. Including during one of the times when myself and others were trying to help him.

Theres no help for Lord Wolfden untill he realises we aint agaisnt him.Untill such time he cuts out the spamming and petty little remarks.Id be anybodies friend even his.I get the feeling no matter how nice a person i am.I dont count as a person in his world.
And everything i have said to as been called for.

When lord wolfden comees on line again and actually doesnt see everyone as threat than thats the time we can be true friends.

I disagree with what he does when ppl are being friendly and he puts in things i dont know why so and so doesnt like me.shows how paranoid he is.And i know its pointless trying to chat to someone whos paranoid.

The time he realises theirs other ppl worse of than him the better,
he his able to chat and think like anyone else.
Theres ppl right now who are born blind and deaf+ppl right now who are going to be told by their doctor they are dieing.
When he comes back he has to decide to respect others or he wont get it back.

Firstly, LW is not a 'nasty piece of work' (based on what I've seen you have that dubious honour SB) he's just... well... a bit of a muppet.

Secondly, he doesn't specifically offend anybody. He *does*, however, generically offend a lot of well-established Researchers by his attitude towards the site and other people.

That answers the question asked. He has never offended me ,but its not for trieingg on his behalf. I do tend to believe that those who claim he offends ,useually have there head buried in the anus .

When my dad was in hospital, he was very understanding and very pleasant to me, i think he has some different ideas about what he likes and what others like, but havent we all and he comments on them, he speaks his mind, we cant all agree on the same thing.

So he wont learn from whatever he has done, but at the end of the day he hasnt really done anything wrong, so he sets up loads of threads, so what, dont read them, its as simple as that.

I like the guy so maybe i am bias, but as my old man says, life is too short, you only get one stab at it so enjoy it.

The new threads I can deal with... I don't hang around in Misc Chat that much anyway, it's when he purposely disrupts serious (and not-so-serious) threads and then cries 'bully' when people politely ask him not to.

Just to be fair here, not all of the threads disappeared as a result of LW unsubscribing. There were a number of conversations that had clearly the same or identical posts repeated throughout them with no-one else posting to them, or where the majority of the posts had been removed during the course of moderation. Such conversations have been deleted, which is why they look as if LW has unsubscribed.

Fair enough... I based my assumption on seeing that he had unsubbed from some threads immediately after being disruptive.

Somebody said that people were being nasty about Wolfden in the "h2g2 is really going downhill" thread. Just to set the record straight, that conversation was set up by me, because I was disgusted with all the bullying of Wolfden that was going on. It was not an anti-Wolfden thread. Most people there are not particular friends of the said Lord, but don't like the way he was being treated.

The only comment in it that could possibly be taken as being 'nasty to Wolfden' as far as I can see was where one researcher said that perhaps Wolfden had learnt his lesson and another researcher laughed. Not really a serious case of being nasty to Wolfie.
