Very cold here too, i was thinking of trying to make it as far as the Boulangerie for some bread, then realised it was snowing! Went off the idea. Not a good idea with the bad knee.
Moved the TV finally, te he, collared two blokes walking past into doing it for me, i think they thought it was candid camera!
Pottered around, taught my student Vero.
My mate Helen phoned,she's an author. Her agent phoned to say her book has been rejected, so she is pretty down
Made some food (Broccoli cheese, spuds, tomato)read a bit of Private Eye, emailed a couple of people, came on here.
It's even colder now, Yoda is whinging & she has a fur coat!

Looks like Europe is in for another cold spell

Awww; how nice of you! I will tell her that; it will cheer her up. obviously as "aspiring writer" you get used to rejection letters, but this creep has been playing her along for 9 months, she could have sent it elsewhere if they had just said "thanks, but no thanks"!

I'm going to take my son to Ambelside on Sunday to the football museum there, well it's like a gallery with all things about football so I know he'll enjoy it. Then we're gonna spend some time there. I'm gonna rent a DVD out tonight I think, and scoff popcorn lol

How rivitting 'not' but enjoy the DVD and popcorn what DVD are you getting?

Hi Wolf(den) and all around, I live in Cornwall. visit hootoo occasionally and am intrigued by the politics.

Hi ya'll , Batman begins is a good movie , to watch the DVD is brilliant I saw it last summer ,Michael Cain is admirable as Alfred ,Christian Bale makes a Great batman .Its dark and believeable unlike the other Batman movies .
If you have seen The Original version of the punisher with Dolph lungren as Mr. P , then you have Batman The begining .
Its one of the few movies that i would rate 9/10 ,very few movies to me get 10/10 , War of the world sadly was a let down .
Charley and the choclate factory was good that got 9/10 ,If you have seen and your a friend of mine you know why ,I saw someone I knew in the movie .

Whats_ina name Iam sure you know who i mean ,and I hope she gets well soon .
