Is that North Carolina?

Yes. If you have a map it is right along the southern border near South Carolina, about halfway between the coast and the Blue Ridge mountains.

It is one of the largest cities in the state, with the other being the capital, Raleigh.

In Charlotte the main industries are banking (as mentioned) and technology. I guess in that way between myself and my boyfriend we work in both industries as he is an engineer with Microsoft.

'ning, Wolfie.. it's afternoon here.

Diva dog and I went down to the greenway this morning for a lovely autumn stroll, as we often do when I'm not working. Here in Charlotte there is a project called the Greenway Project that keeps the beauty of nature near the multitudes of creeks that run through the city. Generally there are nice walking trails with benches sprinkled about to sit and contemplate by the rushing streams... my diva dog is 15 years old so at one point she just kind of flopped down with a "thunk!" and decided it was time to contemplate while she rested her feet.

Oh she's adorable... she's a 15 year old golden retriever named Goldie - but we just refer to her as diva dog or Her Royal Dogness..
