...early June be for the German walk? I'd rather not do the Trailtrekker, I think, and as you said it clashes with your dissertation too... Plus there are the two bank holidays on the 4th and 5th of June.

Well, it stands to reason that the best time to organise a Belfast meet is when the transport is running *well*. Because you know how bad it can be even then.
