I saw your post on the iD thread. I just thought I'd say that I agree completely.
The amount of fuss people are making about this is really starting to get on my nerves!

Yes - it's all about them being minorly inconvenienced 
Do you happen to read Scary Go Round? (A webcomic.) There was that one episode where everybody was frightened merely because of a little boy telling them "things are going to change"
