Hi Mala
Got a few quick questions about CA's that I hope you don't mind me asking.
When I've drawn a blob and asked you guys about how I can make it better who decides when it's finsihed so to speak? is it a general decision like Peer Review or is it up to the artist? I presume that when it's finshed it gets saved into the edited guide folder is that all the ca's have to do or do we have to let anyone know?
And can you let me know if my asteroid blob is finshed?
Thanks. Sorry to bother you while you're working.
Hope you're ok.

Oh, hi, Penguin.
You certainly are the most enthusiastic new artist we've had in ages, and you're improving by leaps and bounds!
We're kind of re-inventing how the CAs work at the moment - the group had dwindled to nothing, and we're only just reviving it.
I'm not the "boss" of the CAs by any means - I just kind of took it over when it was just me in there We don't do all this voting nonsense like the uptight Photographers. (We also have big studios in leaky abandoned factories and meet up once in a while to howl at the moon, plus
and bare feet, of course.
)
Basically, it's ready when you decide it's ready, but we generally decide it's ready when people stop making suggestions, if that makes sense.
After you move them to the EGE folder, it's probably best to start a *new* mail to the group and perhaps mention that the Eds should check it in the title, or call it finished picture, or something like that. They don't always notice. (I send them summaries every few weeks when we've had a lot of activity.)
I'll be slow in there for a while, though, terribly busy at the moment. And KB is off on holiday.

Cheers Mala.
I'm all for the howling at the in old, abandoned factories!
In that case, I'll move asteroid and email the eds and leave the rest as it.
Thanks

As ever, the Eds have the final say. Don't forget the black border!
(closest I can get to a whale and an asteroid.)
Oooh, I just remembered, I totally forgot to put your BSOD blob in the Art Library. Will do so now.

Nah, I have the count on my space and in the tag for the ArtLibrary account now. I like my current tagline

I have exactly 10 days left to write 35-50 pages...

No, I have to do pictures, too, but those (and the footnotes) don't count toward the pages.

I did once do a project where the whole first sheet (A0, a square metre of paper) was basically a comic without words describing the idea and explaining the blueprints on the other pages
But since this is based on a different project, I can't use the comic thing here

I don't think I could fill A0 with pictures. Would make a brilliant paper airlane though!
You could use watermarks
Whats this one on then?

I'd not thought of doing origami with it.
My last design project, the one I have to base my thesis on, was making plans for converting a burned-out 19th-Century music hall to a museum, or rather, a modern curiosity cabinet.
So the paper is about museum history and museum design theory.
Key: Complain about this post
