Regarding your tag line, I thought I'd let you know that I got some cute socks for Christmas, and was actually quite pleased. Socks are not always boring!

It was just a bit of silliness between my mother and me after I mailed her a surprise present of socks with fairies on them.

No pastry-based footwear for me, alas! 
I have socks with fairies on them, too. I wear them under my hose when swordfighting, to balance things out a little. Or the ones with the gold and white ponies.
