I'm fine, thanks - spent the morning helping my mother in the garden (she told me where to dig and I planted the trees)

Then we went to my grandmother's birthday celebration, and played cards when we came back - so good, all in all.smiley - smiley

Neat. The pottery was lovely too. Did your Grandma throw pots too?

That's a neat place to work. I see Herriot and Tanna are at odds again,
what's to become of them?

Can't wait. Maybe we can get more real moments out of a break-up then their togetherness. At least as far as the RPG as a novel goes.smiley - winkeye

I think we are going to round up the Gaels and take off shortly. Poor Dmitiri is knackered. More junk on indentured servants to write about. Pretty gloomy stuff. And one of the horrible secrets besides the Trail of Tears that never made it into the history books. My grandparents fled Lithuania in 1905 to get away from serving in the czar's army.

smiley - yikes That's history constantly repeating itself. My Dutch grandfather hid in the space between the treads of the stairs and the ceiling of the cupboard below to avoid being drafted by the Nazis. And now my cousin's busy trying to get rid of his Turkish citizenship because they want him for the army - where they put "foreigners" in the front lines to teach them less arrogance...

Sure - we can stop soon, I'm tired myself.smiley - smiley I hope he's holding up reasonably well regardless smiley - hug

Your Princess Rana made me tear up! Thank you. I was beginning to think that no one had real feelings. Self regard is NOT a real feeling, but a lot of people seem to think it is.

Well, Wednesday evening I'll go look at that one flat I found, and if I get it, I'm moving in on the first of June - even though that will likely mean double rent for a month smiley - groan
