Hi! Thought I'd just mention that I'm pursuing a policy of acting as though Lord W does not exist.... unless of course he actually posts something which is in the spirit of the thread. When I found out that Emee had unsubbed from this thread I thought "Damn it, let's see if we can reclaim a tiny bit of h2G2 back" - so in a small way that's what I'm trying to do. I doubt if the old regulars like Emee and 2legs will ever be tempted back to the thread, but I can but hope.

Me too - I've been watching over the last few months and not taking part in the "wolf baiting" - but to be quite honest, whatever his problems are, he really is a self centred little toad who has taken the enjoyment out of this site for a lot of people who have contributed far more than I have.

Well spoken! I don't bait him, because he obviously has problems - he's used to being pandered to and beign the centre of attention, I guess. There are other people I know who come on this site to forget about handicaps, but he has to be more equal than others...

Oh well, but let's not focus on him cos if we start obsessing we'll never get B&B moving again , apart from that he's not a very interesting subject!

So, let's talk about something else

Christmas - argh. My best friend, her husband and son are coming to stay from Christmas Eve morning til Christmas Day evening - great!!! Love to see them, we get on so well. But I've created an extra pressure for myself - Christmas Day is said best friend's 4*th birthday, so I want to make it very special, not particularly Christmassy but to keep Christmas Eve very Christmassy... Oh dear, I think I'm going to have to lie down......

Sounds nice though! I'm finally going home again for Christmas, I suddenly started missing everyone very much

Where's home? I know that your in Germany now - but where did you start off?

Home is difficult - the house that feels like home, where my mother lives now, I never lived in - it's in Germany too, but 300km away. I moved out when the family moved there in April.

It's the people that make home, "Home" not the place. My German geogrpahy is appalling - only ever visited once, somewhere near Bremen! Dump me down in Greece, however, and I could probably navigate my way around quite happily!
