I learned that from my Norwegian friend Hallvard that Hey means Hei in norwegian. Anyhow I think you're

Thanks. Let me introduce myself. I'm a senior in High School, I love reading all sorts of books, some have been my old friends, i.e the Lotr series before the movies. I think there should be a B.M. and A.D. age, sort of like B.C. and A.D.
Ho-hum. Anyhow I'm struggling to write my own book on Mordred and yeah...

Mine must have been Lloyd Alexander's Prydain books. Or was it Narnia? No, must have been Astrid Lindgren's "Ronja the Robber's Daughter"

Haha, my favs were the High King and A Horse and His Boy for Narnia, oh my that's a while ago.
Alas, I recall the days when I used to wonder at the possible Bilba's and Froda's of the world.
I take it you're a Pratchett fan?
I rather liked Guards Guards!

Oh, yes, Terry Pratchett is great! But there are soooo many great authors out there
I always wanted to be either Eilonway from Prydain or Ronja or Eowyn

He was in the High King... Er... the hungry guy, darn this bad memory I should go and read my little sister's children books over again some time.
Ah me, good times.

Oh, right, I remember now. I was thinking of the guy from Jim Knopf.

I'm sorry I didn't make things clear, it was clear in my mind, but that - my mind - is something I cannot even read, much less you, my dear.

I know the feeling! an hour ago, I was thinking so hard about what language I was thinking in that I couldn't think!
Hei!

I had the same problem when doing maths, I would translate chinese to english to chinese to english to try and solve the problem until I get utterly confused. Thank the light I never bothered to learn to do maths in french class.
Hei!

I tend to do Maths in English up until trigonometry, calculus and probability, as well as most Physics in German

Elwyn_Centauri, geAt (O+ THS) Posted Sep 20, 2005
Fair enough. I did Calculus last fall all in English *is proud* lol the chinese part I was speaking about when I was in 3rd grade and I would recheck fractions in both, as well as cumbersome word problems. Now I stick mostly with English if only because I never learned the terms for things in geometry other than in English. I tend to do Physics in gibberish.

Exactly my problem, I went to first grade here, then moved to the US and didn'T come back til I was 15...

Elwyn_Centauri, geAt (O+ THS) Posted Sep 20, 2005
Long story but *check watch* it seems I have time:
3 years old - moved to NY
6 - china
8 - CA (best time of my life, pretending not to know the language, skipped out on homework and tests )
9 - different region of san diego, different elementary
10 - back to original school
12 - NJ
I'm still in NJ
