Editing Deep Purple

Hi Bagpuss,

Thanks again for all your work editing my Deep Purple Live Albums Entry.

Is it possible to make some late changes? Furry Geezer has pointed out an error on my part, I've caught a typo and trying to get hold of the 'right' version of one album has lead to me discovering that it's widely known by an unofficial name. Also I've modified the criteria for recommending an album, and we need a tense change to reflect the fact that a compilation has now been released.

I realise that all sounds like a lot, but each individual change is quite minor so I'm hoping you could do this/arrange for this to be done without it going back through PR...

Any problems or questions and you know where to find me! (You might have to shout thought - I'll have my stereo on smiley - smiley)

>If buying California Jamming, ensure you get the 2003 re-issue which includes the complete set; earlier versions omit 'Lay Down, Stay Down'. The sound quality is slightly substandard on all versions.

>If buying California Jamming, ensure you get the 2003 re-issue which includes the complete set; earlier versions omit 'Lay Down, Stay Down'. Although the re-issue is officially called Just Might Take Your LifeSic; the order of the first two words is reversed from the song title., it features the text Live at the Ontario Speedway prominently on the cover, and is often known by this title. The sound quality is slightly substandard on all versions, but improved on the reissue.

>Recommended Mark VII Listening: Live Encounters...., Live at The Olympia '96, Total Abandon: Australia '99.

(The other two are just too difficult/expensive to get hold of!)

(Two changes)

>12-CD boxed sets; releases with missing tracks;

>12-CD boxed sets; geographically restricted releases that are likely to be expensive to obtain; releases with missing tracks;

Finally, in the table, on the line headed 'Mark III', switch 'California Jamming' and 'Live at the Ontario Speedway' (i.e. LatOS is the official title, Jamming is an aka).

Thanks in advance!

Hi Giford,
It's not possible for me to make changes any more, I'm afraid. Have a look at the UpdateForum. I think you need to contact Editorial Feedback.
