nice one... its £50 if you win the ic pub quiz. we came close to it once, but ended up coming second by a few points, and got a couple of free pints. the only way we did so well was one round was on Friends, another was on Frasier, and there were easy questions on things that we knew about.

The Queen, down in Burley (actually, which part of the world are you in, I don't know whether to just say "in Leeds" or if you'll know more specific areas) used to have a £50 top prize, but it was very difficult to win; the team who got the jackpot question right had to select an envelope out of about 10, only one of which won 50, the rest were smaller prizes.

ic - imperial college (london). we have one in the uni bar, but whether its changed form last year i'm not sure.. and yes, Leeds is about as accurate for me as i need! my geography is terrible as DD will no doubt agree with...

Hmmm. Seeing as I'm off pub quizzing tomorrow night I'll have to say. Leeds is that big City up in the middle of Yorkshire.

Not bad for someone from London. Though it's more towards the left; York's in the middle, but that's not a very big city.

Enjoy the pub quiz. I went to another one last night, but the only prize we won was more of a raffle style - i.e. one number drawn out of a hat, that team wins for cans of lager (bleugh).
