Actually Bagpuss you might do. I'm not so fickle as to only be here advertising hte elcection. It just stips me having to mention it in every thread. But I'm here as a friend to say hi. And just to say hope you have a good time here and it can get addictive.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad of the greeting, I just felt the urge to make a jokey comment. Perhaps the preponderence of smilies in this place renders them less effective.

I had a , though having spent some time on usenet, I find the automatic rendering of smilies into pictures somewhat distracting. BTW, had a look at your campaign page and I have to say that, unlike most politicians, you are obviously someone who listens to people, weird people admittedly, but it's a start.
