Hello from an English girl in Québec....I thought I would say hi to a fellow studying here after seeing your comments on 'where have the lemons gone'...how do you like Hamilton? (I am supposing that is where u r studying from the map..)
You are quite right about grape flavour (or should I write 'flavor'?). Every sweet/drink that is purple here seems to have what I find a rather vile synthetic raisin taste...shame really.

Sorry it took me a while to reply, the uni insists on giving me work. Anyway, I quite like Hamilton, though the bus service isn't as good as Leeds.

How's Quebec?

Quite cold...but not as cold as usual apparently, thank God. I had a strange experience last weekend ice-fishing, it was quite a nightmare, very surreal and I was very pleased to get home
How do you find the uni there compares to in the UK? I agree about the buses...but in Montréal we have a cool metro where the tickets are REALLY cheap.

Compared to Leeds uni, it's very flat. The regime also seems more informal, though I think that's partly the difference between being and undergrad and a postgrad.

What are you up to in Montréal?
