well I didn't know about them! now I have to think what I could talk about. I have read all your stuff and it was all interesting! (Actually I'll save the TA stuff for later. came across it briefly before in a management type course and it seemed to make good sense ... it will be good to read an entry on it and apply to real parent teenager problems)

I think I'll browse a few journals first to get the style and then launch

I can't quite work out just how public the entries and conversations are. I mean I know that they're available to anyone on h2g2, but in practice what does that mean? 50 people in all corners of the English speaking world? 3000? Some in my home town? Some who might know me and the people I would say disparaging things about (drum teachers?)?

OK what does that say about me? Secrets? Skeletons? Judgemental about friends acquaintances colleagues family? Not really but certainly there things I could say that I wouldn't want facf to read.

made me think a bit that! (always a good thing)

I don't know. I post as if someone may read them but I also don't expect anyone to be reading them. I thought it might be interesting for me to backread one of these days.

I once wrote a diary for a year. Some decades ago. Still got it but I don't know where to keep it. It was pretty gross and would still be embarrassing if someone read it, but it contains a lot more detail than my memories after all this time. Can't quite bear to throw it away.

me too. I looked it out the other day. I was written about 20 years ago - when I was a young teenager. You can imagine how embarrassing it would be. !
