OUCH!!!!

It's that time again, the time when every month, no matter how much you hope against hopes that maybe just maybe this time you'll get away with it, you feel the familiar dull ache that means you're going to be in agony for the next 5 hours. you hate all men, you want to hit anything that moves and god help any poor misguided fool that thinks they're helping when they give you a hug for it is written that they shalt end up almost losing an eye. 'it's alright, it'll go away'...............'I give you three seconds to get the hell away from me'. Yah I got a stomache cramp.

lazy ass tutors *cough* Tom *cough*

Today my lovely production techniques tutor who's name will not be mentioned to protect the, only just but by a very thin thread, innocent, demonstrated how to be a stage manager by sitting on his ass on the comfy sofas on set for, let me see, AN HOUR, and watched his students do all the work. When questioned as to what exactly he was doing he said he was 'contemplating stuff', when we asked him if he wouldn't mind contemplating helping he did exactly that, for another HOUR! After this marathon contemplating session he decided to finally do something, so he sat in front of the prop t.v on set and attempted to tune it in by continually pressing the same button over and over again. Eventually he gave up and decided to tune it in by staring it out. And this is the man we are supposed to learn from. I'M GONNA FAIL!

fine border between insanity and genius proven

Antonin Artaud, the guy who came up with the theatre of cruelty is a DUDE! we spent this morning's acting techiques workshop pretending to be insane. we were apparently adopting very Artaudian methods when in improvisation work we started stealing people's shoes and hugging them. apparently collecting around a dozen shoes and hoarding them whilst humming dementedly is good............THAT's where i was going wrong all these years.

*bangs head on nearest hard object*

lets all sing a little song shall we...it goes a bit like this 'i hate key skills i hate key skills, yes i do, yes i do' etc etc this can be sung to any tune you deem fit and usually works best when rocking back and forward and dribbling slightly. Now it's not that i particularly hate doing key skills (Lie detector goes off the scale) it's just the fact that our delightful key skills teacher has decided that just because onE or two people on the drama course happen to be indescribably stupid amoeba type people from the jurassic era we ALL have to do key skills 1 in application of number. Just to make it clear how incredibly mind numbingly irritatingly boring this is i was doing this kind of stuff 5 YEARS AGO!!!! i got a freakin A in maths! i did not go through all that crap with the equations to do primary school stylee bar graphs!!!!

a very anti-social poem

i am now totally fed up with cluttering up my room with poems that i constantly keep churning out so I'm gonna write them here so I don't keep spilling milk on them!

They live as in a love song,
Deny their greatest fears,
The nightmares and the lying,
The hurting and the tears,
I watch them worship daytime,
But I'm the one who knows,
That in the much loves sunshine,
The deadly nightshade grows.
I know the song of shadows,
The melody of time,
I know them and I live by them
The sun and moon are mine.
They see me as a stranger,
And different to them all,
But here and my solitude,
I'll be the last to fall.
My music are the breezes,
That kiss the sleeping trees,
My friends are only characters,
That no-one ever sees.
Don't think that I don't love you,
I'll always love you all,
But here and in my solitude,
I'll be the last to fall.
