i am thinking of becoming a witch but i have a lot of research to do first. i can do that thing where your mind leaves your body, it's quite cool.

Interestingly the Christian picture of Satan is actually a wiccan god. The Christians used the god which had hooved feet and a tail to represent the devil and by doing so equated witch craft with satanism and so "justified" the burning of witches. Only recently are the very clear distinctions being recognised by society.
Buffy the Vamire Slayer is an excellent programme, however, I wouldn't use it as a reliable picture of modern witches. Witchcraft is a religion not just magical spells.

true it is a religion but this doesn't stop anyone from using the spells in any way they want to. look at teeny bopper magasines for god sakes!
