Today is Izzy's birthday. She's 16. As she says herself, this gives her the privilege of having to pay adult fare on the buses without any great benefits to compensate.
She's now legally allowed to smoke (not that she wants to) but she can't buy cigarettes and nobody is allowed to give them to her.
We're going to celebrate her birthday by going out to a nice Indian Restaurant in town.

that's a bit mad with the smoking/buying cigarettes thing. And you'd think that the age for full-fares on the bus should be 18 (but then I've always thought that)
