I shouldn't worry about it. Looks like there's someone else doing it for them now anyway. Unless they've gone again! smiley - mousesmiley - rainbowsmiley - peacedove

Someone else doing what for them? Why does it look like this?

>>Unless they've gone again!
Unless who has gone where?

How can you tell who is WHO when you're online? I was merely trying to be safe on line and I don't know where the person I was talking to has gone to, but does it really matter when we don't know who it was we were talking to anyway AND the person may not be who I thought it was either.

Apart from that I wanted to say thank-you because your name had helped me before. Whether it was you or not is debateable. smiley - smiley

No, I never played the harp. But I play the guitar, mandolin, recorder, tin whistle, clarinet and saxophone.

hmm, not meaning to be bah humbugging, but I had to beat small carolling children off my doorstep with my missus' halloween broom two weeks ago!

But yes, indeedy, it IS that time if year already. Has everyone chosen an appropriately themed advent chocolate advent calendar?

Glad to see the PS back!

Ah, music, a great solace.

Local vicar rather hoped that our very small mixed choir would do something from the Messiah at his carol service - as well as some complicated monastic chant for which he only has a recording , no score. Sadly we're not quite up to that - we'll be doing something more manageable. smiley - musicalnote

We've also made the radical decision not to go carol singing round the village this year - two long cold evenings is getting to be too much! Instead, we'll do a couple of hours one Saturday outside the village shop.

Carol singing is, unfortunately unknown in Germany.

The last chance I got to do any was about 25 years ago in Benjamin Franklin Village in Mannheim, when I was with the American Girl Scouts.

Advent starts the day after tomorrow here, so by then the house should be decorated inside and out. Probably won't be. You'd be considered really odd if you put outside lights on the tree(s) in the garden during advent - i.e. just for Christmas. Most people have got theirs up already.
