Now retrieved

Yep. Now my Guide is back where it belongs.
I picked it up just today and it was rather happy to see me. But not as happy as I was. Now we're here, me and my guide. We may both be battered, dusty and tired. But at lest we're battered, dusty and tired together.

Lost and found

HAPPY DAY!
My long lost copy of the Hitchhiker has been found after 18 months. It all beganwhen one of my friends wanted to borrow my Hitchhiker. What was i to do? Since I wanted to spread the word I said yes.
About six months later when I myself felt the Urge to re-read the Guide I asked my friend to return it.
A few months later I realised I was still missing the book and asked my friend once again to return it. He said he already had. Well, I thought, I usually am a bit confussed. Maybe I lost it after he returned it.
And now several months later my friend found the book in a cupboard in his house.

A mere thought

While looking through the various entries in the h2g2 i suddenly get a flashback to the days of joy when I just had read the hitchhiker's guide for the first time.
Something occured to me a few weeks(months?) later when I was thinking about the answer. The thoughts running through my head "sounded" something like this: -In the beginning of the book, A-P Dent was in his thirties Right?(I may be wrong, it's just as i recall and my memory is rather strange theese days.) And he travelled around in space for quite a many years. AND the fella who was said to know the question recogniced A-P's name. Assume, just ASSUME that when earth was blown up in the end, A-P had reached the age of 42.
If and I repeat IF my speculations are correct, isn't it possible for the quistion to be something like: "At what age did Arthur Dent die" or maybe "How old did Arthur Dent get?"

Well, as stated earlier: Just a mere thought.

My first day at h2g2

So, I'm a researcher now. I guess. Hope everything goes well.
About all I have to say right now....
