Oh yes he did -- after all I've been soooo brave the whole year through, didn't hurt a single cat and such
I don't want to be boring, but the entry on the ancient olympics has enough to make it through the system as well (there were some proposals still, in the PR thread which has fallen asleep for quite a few weeks now). It IS a long way though, and h2g2 doesn't appear to be able to speed things up.

I'm not really sure what to do about it ... The Ancient Olympics thing, I mean. Should I tinker with it some more? What do you reckon?

Yes, definitely you should! Albion made a few suggestions about some more 'dry' facts, and seeing that the Guide is trying to become factual in the first priority, I guess that's what you should comply with. But your kind of humour makes it a _great_ entry then. -- provided you can stand it waiting and waiting. It's an awful lot of weeks for entries to go through all, and h2g2 cannot afford more payed staff to increase the weekly rate of 25 edited entries, so I was told. The Peer Review thread is at http://www.h2g2.com/F48874?thread=76404. Seeing that the scouts and other 'visitors' to the Peer Review rarely go beyond the second page, the best tactic is to keep the thread 'on top' of it by piecewise inserting stuff and announcing the progress within the thread as soon as it reaches page 3.

OK, thanks, I'll see what I can do. My problem is that I need one of those gadgets where you turn the handle and it churns out a few extra hours to insert in your day. Santa did not bring me this, opting instead for the conventional and uninspired. I love playing with h2g2 but it is not so much time-consuming as time-voraciously gobbling!
As you pointed out, I don't visit my page all that regularly: sometimes I just can't get around to it. That's another thing I would like: A Round Tuit! Oh, what I could accomplish if only I could get a Round Tuit!

That's an easy problem to solve!
The Royal h2g2 procrastinators society (http://www.h2g2.com/A431911) has lots of them, although still unofficially. Let's say next year they might perhaps find the time to have it available for distribution on their main page -- at least I hope so
