Yeah I really hope to watch the rugby. i do find sport really helpful in dealing with angst.

I played a heck of a lot as a youngster and that helped me hugely. But now its watching and shouting at the telly.

But its the Scotland match next week I'm really looking forward to. I hope that's on at a better time..cos lets face it we're not going to lose to Romania...so maybe why they put it on at that time.

I've no interest in football this year though..so far...All the incredible amounts of money in it have killed its soul for me.

But I do have Olympic tickets for that next year. Boxing and athletics.

About names, I'm curious: what's the significance of heavy sleeting, and why've you gone from unbland to bland?

I went to Heavy Sleeting because I wanted something totally inoffensive as my previous name was suddenly deemed offensive. I thought it something a bit surreal as a name.

Sleet is a watery form of snow and a bit vague. And to be heavy even more vague and inoffensive. You'll hear people say occasionally..it was sleeting heavily last night.

Unbland to bland was to do with getting cross about a lot of yikesings starting in my journal. So I decided to blandify them to stop that. Of course I couldn't keep it up and further yikesings have occurred very occasionally.

But then I liked the irony of calling myself that given what I often post.

Right I'm up and watching.
