The ghost of Neville Chamberlain
Every Brit's worst nightmare, kea

I don't get the reference sorry.
3D, can I then treat you as less than human because you are behaving in a less than human way by treating another human as less than human

He was an 'appeaser' extrodinaire before WWII. A gullible dumbcluck. It's often said that the ghost of Neville Chamberlain hangs over British foreign policy ever since.
There's a lot to be said for 'appeasement' being utterly bankrupt as a strategy.

Actually 'strategy' sounds a bit calculating. Although maybe appropriate, note I said 'maybe', in this case. 'Policy'might be a better word?

I'm going for 'humour'
It's always the best solution to any problem for a Brit.

No, nothing to do with trolls again
Just wanted to drop by and say I'm enjoying your contributions in the Real Question thread
I can't speak for Robyn, but from the outside she doesn't appear to be twisting what you are saying. It might just require more clarification. I mean, most people in that thread completely misunderstood what I was saying and I've had to reclarify. I know you've been doing this too. It's good for debate I think.
Anyhoo, I just referred to you in that thread as having a spiritual aspect, so I guess I'll be in trouble too
Always good to have you around.

Hi kea
I've been thinking more about what you called 'spiritual aspect'. I think?? I know what you are driving at. And it really isn't anything I can fix on a particular/specific 'belief/faith' system, so 'spiritual' is a bit charged. But in the very wide use of the word maybe yes; because great art has that quality for me. Kind of ineffable. I just understand and know it at the core of my being. And it's like a profound contradiction at the heart of everything that is fundamentally founded on a kind of emotional/heart intelligence. Artists like Mozart, Shelley, Pollac, Proust...(sorry they are all men are know ) but whatever, were for sure in touch with this thing.
And its somehow connected with relationship in its widest sense, whether that be in the complexities of a Pollack painting or between people.
Yes ultimately, although I'm pretty good at all this logic and rationality stuff....it always sits on something deeper I can't put into words very easily.
Maybe this relates a bit to what you spoke about recently connected with the concept of chi? I'd be interested to know if you can relate personally with what I was struggling to express above? And if it relates in any way with what you understand to be 'spirituality' in its deepest and widest sense.
