Hi Toybox, good of you to drop by. I was feeling quite fed up and disillusioned yesterday because I had attempted a different approach with Vicky the night before; I explained it subsequently in post 7902

It was nice that Gif at least appreciated it. Anyway subsequently yesterday there was a big cafuffle afterwards. I felt really fed up with the SAMO SAMO nastiness and conflict coming back. I'm not naive enough to think anything drastic will change but I just thought it would make a change. I am quite interested in speaking to Vicky when she is being honest about the personal side of faith for her.

I'm not sure that it will be possible to bring that into TGD thread though; I may have to speak to her on her PS about it.

Yes it was a bit silly of me to get in a strop and clear out my ps. It was just a reaction to my frustration at the return of nastiness and yikesing. I've been with that thread for months now, and there is much that is good, and I've learnt loads, but the degree of agro in all that time has started to depress me lately, (I'm a moody so and so ). I was certainly involved myself in the past in the aggro, but I don't being like that; I'd so much prefer more friendliness with people if possible.

Not having any convos visible or friends list, was me lashing out. But I love my flying ants, so they will never go.

Actually I appreciated the discussion too, I just was a bit late to say so

As for aggressiveness, there is something else I always intended to tell you but wasn't sure how to sneak in a conversation. Namely, even though sometimes your postings can seem somewhat, how to say? vehement, afterwards you always come again with apologies if you feel you have been unfair. This is quite a knightly trait of yours (or gentlemanlike, if you prefer ).

Don't you mean ladylike?

Yes you are so spot on about my posts sometimes being vehement. I'm like that IRL too. It's because I care passionately about things. But I am always mortified when I calm down and feel I've been really unfair and hurtful when it wasn't that necessary.
