Why are 3 posts of mine in my 'blame 2legs' journal still invisible after hours..and apparently in a queue.
Why would I post something so dangerous that it had to be kept invisible on such a thread.
It would take someone about 2 seconds max to see those posts are fine.
The wind up is far worse now than under the beeb.
Yet again I'm treated like a total idiot by this place.

I don't know how many moderators there are even. But I suppose there might be times when all the ones on one timezone are at work and all the others asleep. I don't think there is 24 hour coverage, and I think setting up a schedule is hard - people work, and have lives outside h2g2. I've had a busy time lately, like last night there were parent-teacher-student "speed dating" at my daughters high school.

That information needs to be clearly made available then to warn anyone on pre-mod that their posts however benign on a thread like 'blame 2 legs' that they set up will be hidden all night.
It's about communication.
Otherwise it makes you think someone is deliberately playing games..if there are hardly any posts being made all night.
Being told your posts are in queue is a joke.
All it does is alienate people.
I've got loads to give this place..but I'll give nothing if I feel I'm feeling it's some sort of heavy handed ideological regime...that's the impression I'm getting.
It's now a numbers game for newbies..the soul and chutzpah is dying.

Oh and I'm happy to do the nightshift if no-one is available. Tell me where to sign up.

Important discussions are going on Ask from which I'm totally excluded from taking part in.
And I don't know who made that decision..and their history with me on this site..and how objectively neutral their behaviour towards me is.
They have *ALL* the power. I have virtually none.
I don't feel safe to contact gurus via email now.
Who decides whether or not I can become part of the structure here or not at present? Obviously when voting starts that will be via *democracy* But at present who decides?

Also anyone here with a psychological/neurological problem will be subject to various remarks on and off to do with that.
You will *NEVER* see people with a physical problem treated in that way.
Indeed online they are always going to be at the advantage and have power compared to psychological deficiencies. As my father describes it..people with a weakness.
Yes thats *TRUE*
I should be honestly admitted to..and then we'd all know where we are.

And yes it really is good I'm not on ASK..now I see it suggested who O2 is.
And I already made a firm decision about that person..and didn't beat about the bush. I could read the writing on the wall..or was it on the back of a filthy fag packet?
And I only just read all that. And yes it nearly sends me mad I can't post there..and the amount of rage it stirs up because of the past with that person..I can hardly bear it.
But luckily earlier I had the sudden clear awareness of how things really should change for me here..to do with what my role can be in an incredible positive way.
I am always fundamentally an optimist..however much sometimes like to pretend the contrary.
It's bloody annoying actually. Being so often disappointed and hurt and upset when optimism fails..is difficult (understatement of the millenium..actually of this geoglogical era) but still deep down I can't ever change.

Effers,
I am not a moderator.
I would make a terrible one, because I can get very angry, and at the same time, I do see things from many sides. At least it feels that way to me, who can tell really?
On the other hand, there's less than five at the moment, I think. Often just one online at the time.
I see so many people actually being insecure, not knowing the boundaries, and trying desperately to find them. Some by provoking, some by getting angry at provokers, and in so many ways. Some asking questions, and getting responses about something completely different. And round and round it goes. And those discussions eat up the time of the moderators. Because they monitor, they handle the yikesings, and they are very much discussing amongst themselves how to handle such discussions.
I think we will find what the boundaries are. I don't know how, when, but I think things are coming together.
And I think that if you have emailed them, they will respond. If it takes time, it's probably because they need to agree how to respond first, so that everyone are on the same track. And perhaps they have mails from lots of people? I have no idea.

I don't need to email them now. I would have done yesterday.
I know all those things you just posted. My problem is I know too much..and I have to keep working out the patterns in the way I do.
It can take a lot of time..or not. Sometimes the most relavent pattern is there straight away. There are many factors involved.
I'd make a great moderator
Yes I agree things are coming together..that's my sense..but there may also be a few ups and downs in between. But I believe the tide has turned.
Hope this makes some sort of sense...It makes huge sense to me
