As an experiment, I even attempted to logout 
a while back... kept getting a 504 error...

I used to make errors with my 504 account, but

OK - after you started this specific journal Ottox, I made *sure* I was subscribed to the Announcements page - but I had become unsubscribed yet again (this must be the 3rd or 4th time it happens to me) because I didn't see today's announcement - good thing I remembered it was the 22nd and decided to go look for it...
