Ooohhhh? Are you coming?

You do know that you can stay at mine too. Pretty please. Or else I'll take the time off and trail round Europe with you.

Seriously, life is now predictable enough for me to be able to do that, and I cannot think of a better way of spending the time.

PS - I downloaded Skype but when I tested it I sound as if I am 500 miles from the PC - I'll see if I can get a microphone for it.

Hola chica smiley - smooch

I'm keeping my eyes peeled in case there's a cheap flight offer to Seville or Malaga. Haven't noticed them in the past, but I wasn't looking, either. Right now the flight'll cost $700+ which is a bit out of the range of reasonable at the moment. However, I have been seeing cheap flights into the UK occasionally lately, so maybe I could make something work. And I'd *LOVE* to spend some time with you! Thanks for the invite. smiley - smiley Where are you nowadays? And what international airports are nearby? Also, how much to get from there to Seville? Until I find a patron or start generating regular income from the art stuff I'm within a tightish traveling budget.

Skype is really cool, though long conversations are somewhat tortured. I'm on dial-up, so there's a delay that makes conversation a bit surreal at times and sometimes it goes all garbly. When you get your end set up give me a shout.

What's been happening with you? A *predictable* life? Are you loving it?

I had my debut as an smiley - artist last night--a total hoot! Showed a few of my paintings at the Hollywood (Florida) Art Walk in the Goddess Store in their bellydancing studio (how appropriate is *that*!) so I've been really busy getting all the details together for that event. I didn't sell any paintings, but I had some inquiries about building display easels smiley - laugh (can actually make a decent bit of cash through building them) and someone else wants me to do some digital photo editing for him and maybe help him design a website. So it was a really fun thing to do, and I'm looking forward to my next public display of....colorfulness, one way or another. This week I'm not sure whether I'll be working, but I want to get started with figuring out how to work the software to make my movie, and then I'll be spending a week in Kansas with my family. I'm having a lovely August, even with the heat.

I'm now a dot com, finally broke down and put up a website for my paintings here http://www.brittamog.com if you want to take a peek. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated-- I'll be changing the background in the gallery pretty quickly as it's kinda scary.

Keep in touch, Ben. My regular email is giving me fits again, so for the time being it's best to use the one on the website until I get the other sorted.

Wooooooohoooooo!

England is small enough that you can fly to just about anywhere, and get to just about anywhere else - ok it may take a few hours, but it is still doable. My nearest airports are Manchester and Leeds / Bradford. Then probably Birmingham, Stanstead, Heathrow and Gatwick in that order. The flights that Teuchter and Z and I have got for going to Seville are from Gatwick. You might also consider Glasgow Prestwick, which is about as far from here as Gatwick. So my advice is to get the trans-atlantic bit as cheap as you can, and then take it on from there. I'll be due some time off by then anyway.

I am rather enjoying predictable, though I haven't quite got there yet! Trying to buy a house with a garden, which proves harder than you'd expect.

The website - are your eyes really that blue? (And do you have any idea how like Coley you look? You could be sisters. Hell, you could be twins!)

Looking at the source-code, you've got fixed widths for the tables, which means that the tables can be wider than the PC screen. You might like to make the tables a percentage of the screen width rather than a fixed width.

But it's a cool site - just enough information but not too much!

Take care my dear.

Woooohooooo! I found the deal I've been waiting for, I think. British Airlines, NY to London, $139 each way. It runs Jan through Apr 3 and I'm sure I can find a good deal here to ny between now and then. I have to book before 22 Sep, the sooner the better as those deals book out quickly.

I *just* realized that I hadn't replied to your last post here. smiley - huh I was *sure* I had, didn't mean to be rude. smiley - blush Ummm... my eyes really are that blue, people remark on it all the time. From what I've seen of Coely she's the more gorgeous, svelter twin. I'm a serious fixer-upper, honey. Thank god it's my job. smiley - smiley I have the technology.

If I come I'll be on a budget, not broke but not rolling in wealth. Would mean I need to buy some groceries rather than dine out all the time, things like that to keep it manageable. Are you sure it would be ok to spend a couple of days at your place? Also, what kinda price range am I looking at to get to Seville and back with y'all? I want to get all my tickets as soon as possible before the fuel crunch makes huge impact.

I was thinking to spend a few days in the UK, then Seville, then home. Haven't looked at the exact dates of az's meetup recently, will do that next. Tell me what would work for you and then I'll sort things out rapidly.

I can't WAIT to see you in person! Hope we can pull it off this time, but like they say, third time's a charm.smiley - goodluck

Please - stay with me as long as you can. Pretty please?

I've sent an email about flights to Seville, and copied Alex on it pour encourager les autres, though she'll be teaching at that time, and probably won't be able to make it.

I have to go to work now, but this is really exciting!

I am a way from London, it might be better to arrive a few days before the Seville trip, and stay with some of the London researchers, (Coley herself springs to mind if you arrive at Gatwick), then I can kidnap you in Seville and whisk you up north.

But rest assured, I am absolutely not going to leave you stranded in London. Wherever you arrive and whenever it is, I can meet you.
