Hey MoGie!

I wrote a poem. OK it's a bit bullet pointy but I'm quite chuffed with it. A11251298

I had a spare half hour and thought I'd write something for SoRB.

I think you're beating me with the juggling. I'll practise this week.

How's the portrait?

smiley - ok

Alex.

We definetely need to start listing other forms of Haiku now after your geniusnessnessness.

My-ku, Lie-ku, Pikey-u, Long-ku, Fung-ku etc. I will let you work out what those poems would be based around!

Wow, you are the master !

I'm afraid to say I don't get 'To square it add one.' in the Phi-ku??

What is Phi used for?

Alex.

Hey MoGie!!

Post 51

Hoovooloo

Phi is the letter used to denote the golden ratio, in the same way pi is used to denote the ratio circumference/diameter.

Lowercase phi = 0.618.

Uppercase Phi = 1.618.

phi * phi = phi + 1 = Phi.

To square it, add one.

Wigan's finest dish
In the joke, the cheer goes up:
"No lad. Pies have come."

smiley - popcorn

Pie-ku.

(this joke requires knowledge of a local joke. Man arrives late at a Wigan rugby match. Just as he gets to the stand, a massive cheer goes up. He calls to a guy who can see, "Have we scored?" The man replies "No, lad. Pies have come."

I love your pi-ku! Very clever!

The juggling is starting to work because I have the balls handy, pick them up for 5-10 minutes several times daily. If I were *really* serious about it I'd tuck 'em in my bra and carry 'em with me always.

SoRB, St. Pete is *old*! Older than me, even. smiley - winkeye It was founded towards the end of the 19th century. So smiley - tongueout

Um, Alfster, what is the secret behind fghytrytfh? Finger spasms?

I was thinking fug-ku was more like the sentiment one might feel towards the naughty-word-nannies.
