Sorry, I don't have your e-mail, so I am writing in this rather semi-public place.
MoG, I really would like to thank you for your thoughtful gift and souvenir of Seville. I was so amazed that I couldn't really express myself properly. It was a wonderful afternoon spent with you in Alcazar, and a pleasant oasis in the otherwise hectic (but nonetheless enjoyable) weekend, where we had a chance to talk sensibly for a longer period about real things, and all that in those wonderful surroundings.
Have a lovely time in London (well, you probably already are!) and don't drink too much at the weekend - you won't want to forget any of it!
TC
Thanks so much

Hi TC!
Just got home late last night, first chance to sit down and catch up on 2 1/2 weeks of backlog. The Adventure was perfect, I'm so full of people and impressions and sensual lingerings (tastes, smells, colors, etc.) and things I've learned that it'll take quite a while to sort it all out. I've decided to do it in a non-Brittonian fashion for once and organize things sensibly! The idea! Today I shall go and buy a beautiful notebook so I can keep everything I collected, and fill it with photos as I work my way through. I feel that this trip was the perfect duration, by the time Alfster dropped me at the airport yesterday I was full up, couldn't have processed another day of wonders, and it felt good to sit on planes and in airports reading and chilling. Being home now, having *my* coffee, *my* puter, *my* things in their usual places and hot, humid weather that doesn't make my face feel like cracking is a real pleasure, too. Funny how it's the simplest things you really miss when you're away from them for a while. I've developed a whole new and sparkly sense of appreciation for the things I do love about my life, and surprisingly, it's not really the things I would have listed as most important to me before I took off on the expedition.
I'm so happy we had that time together as well, TC. Getting to know people in four dimensions was the very best part of this whole thing for me. You can email me brittamog (at) gmail (dot) com . I've been thinking about the things we discussed in between all the *doing* that's been going on the past two weeks. I'm looking forward to settling down the body and moving back into head space for a while. That's another thing I hadn't quite realized I compartmentalize in the way I do until I got around people who only knew me from that angle. Now on to laundry and grocery shopping and sorting out the explosion that's occurred in my apartment. Hard to imagine that a few pieces of luggage can contain so much *stuff*!
Key: Complain about this post
Thanks so much
