since i have figured out how to use this system to connect with people, i would like to say that i enjoyed your writing very much, im sure that my journal will be interesting soon. i have been in limbo for a bit, and am just going to get my life going again. if i can get rid of this cold that is following me around now for at least 5 months. im told that it is a stress cold, and when i relax it will go away. i have just been through a very stressful time, and i am learning to live with myself again. cant wait to do things for myself, that is something that i have never taken the time to do. at least not without guilt i hope that we will get the opportunity to communicate more. take care wildiris

Sounds like you need some serious R and R to get rid of that cold. I had one of those eternal bugs about a decade ago and a doctor told me to take echinacea, lots of garlic, vitamin C, B complex and some other vitamins. You might want to ask your doctor if a similar program might work for you. In my case it finally got rid of the illness after about 2 weeks. I find that yoga helps relieve the stress somewhat.

What sorts of things are you planning to start doing for yourself? Are you gonna dare to indulge yourself outrageously? I say go for it.... it makes sense to treat yourself at least as well as you would anyone else you love.

A friend of mine 'made' me buy Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet" last week, because she said I needed to read it. I have been, and it's a lovely little book with so many things to think about in it. I'll pass on the recommendation to you... I snooped around your page a bit, and I think you'll find some things in the book that'll talk to you, too. I haven't finished it yet, I'm taking this one slowly and thinking about it, but it seems like it's kinda about everything, in a nutshell.

This morning I read the bits about sorrow and joy, and about pain. It's kinda like this. They're all necessary for growth, and it helps to remember that when you're in the middle of them.

thanks again, i will look for the book, sometimes personal growth is a hard process, expecially when you are in the middle of it. i know that that is where i am right now, and am prepared for it. cant wait for this snow to quit falling so that i can spend more time outdoors. i guess i should unpack my life first though getting there. take care and thanks again wildiris

Jazzme's talking to me, Wildiris. I've been spending too much time at my job and not enough replying to my emails. Poor man had to hunt me down.

I'm in the middle of more books than I've ever had going at one in my life (besides when I was at uni, of course) right now, darlin'. Finished 'The Name of the Rose' and am just waiting some breathing time so I can enjoy discussing it with you. I can't wait to peel that one like an onion.

Let's see.... also reading 'The Prophet', 'Something Wicked This Way Comes', 'No Logo', 'The Tao of Time', 'The Divine Comedy' and 'Faust' and trying to research ebola, creation theories, and various chunks of the Bible. It's keeping me pretty busy... do we have a head spinning smiley?

I need to chill out and have a cosmicpolitan.

i have a tendency to be reading too many books at once also, but alas all of my life is still in boxes...having a hard time getting to them...but i will today i promise. i cant get into my room right now my life is in boxes and bags around me, and i havent prepared myself to unpack. still a little uneasy....but once i start it i will do fine. that is a good way to get there, promise to someone you dont know on the internet!!! well if you get the time could you give me the basic outline on the books you are reading!? take care wildiris

I wasn't... rarely ride trains, mostly stick to my bicycle. It's a lovely way to get around and pretty much everything interesting here is within 15 minutes of me, one way or another. What a mess, huh? One of my friends saw the plane crash in Milan yeaterday, though. His office is right across the street. That's too close for comfort.
