Hello - welcome to H2G2 
What would you like a hand with - is there anything in particular you're looking for?
The first thing I'd suggest is writing something about yourself on your Personal Space - you can do this by clicking the 'Edit Page' link on your space. When you've done that, you'll be visited by an ACE, who are volunteers dedicated to helping newcomers find their feet and get used to this enormous place!
