don't have a clue what to write about though, hmm..... inspiration.... i think it's time to listen to some crowded house...
i mean, i know you don't get marks for good lyrics but i want to at least make the effort

I might be able to help with the Glasto bit:
Brothers, oh Brothers, please tell me why,
Your cider tastes rubbish elsewhere,
And yet, by the Jazz stage, with Sun and a spliff,
It's the best use there is for a pear.
In my galoshes, cagoul and rain hat,
I'll be swigging from your paper cups,
And wondering why it tastes rubbish at home,
But here it's the liquid of love.
Reggae, world music and jazz shouldn't work,
When up to one's bottie in mud,
But Brothers, your cider cuts right through the muck,
It will always be Glastonbury's blood.
It runs through the veins of many a soul,
If only for just five short days,
But there is one problem, or so I am told,
It leaves all my memories a haze.
There ya' go! I'm writing this while sitting here with a bottle of Brothers Pear Cider, the label of which states 'First enjoyed in a field in Somerset.'
I'm starting to get excited now...

That is the advertising jingle to end all advertising jingles. It almost... no... yes, it *almost* makes me want to drink cider.

Probably. Hopefully it'll have dried out in a couple of weeks!
For those that are interested I wrote these bits for about Glasto 2005: A4483875A4646874

I really want to go to either Glasto or the I.O.W Festival- I.O.W would be good seeing as its nearer to me.

I daren't read them roy.
Here's a "song" I've been working on
I left my phone phone in the gohbi desert
I buried it on mount f***in' everest
I threw my phone into the north sea
So none of you dozy f***ers can ring me
To get me to fix your pc
Or something equally as silly
Like straighten out your bloody slinky
Or burn an episode of heroes on cd
Repeat in various chunks

I'm sensing some disgruntlement.

I'm sensing some James Blunt. It's coming from the work radio and is making me feel unwell.

niks Posted Jun 2, 2008
Hmm... why is james blunt's songs always so depressing?
i mean, the words are good but they just make me want to curl up in a corner of a dark room and cry!
