A fascination for the period around 1600 seems to have led me to the present conclusion that we are guided by the miscomprehention that history is looping the loop. It's funny how looking at one thing almost allways seems first to allow us insight in another.Enough deep drivel.
This initiative should propel its way past the giggly h2g-nostalgia in no time if you ask me - and you are asking me in a twisted sort of absent minded way by finding this page and reading (computing?) these lines.
Should you be interested in baroque art, culture and literature, american postmodern prose from the 60s, cuban neobaroque, lo-fi music, microphones that just stand there listening to white and pink noise, the white cinemascreen at the beginning of the roll before the trailers commence, the struggle against sedimentation of metaphors for internet navigation or any other topic, please feel free to send me a line. (In order for you to be able to find me, searching for our common interests, here are som ping-words: Donald Barthelme, Severo Sarduy, José Lezama Lima, Alejo Carpentier, Jorge Luis Borges, Julio Cortazar, Adolfo Bioy Casares, Peter Greenaway, Jim Jarmouch, Friedrich Schlegel, Ludwig Tieck, Robert Coover, Miguel de Servantes, Luis de Gongora, Svend Åge Madsen, Celestina, Se-bad-oh, Lou Barlow, Pizzicato Five, Mouse on Mars, Blumfeld, Barbara Morgenstern, Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine. I will think up some more soon...)
