Hello, is there anybody out there ?
I'm old enough to have see Hitchhikers Guide the very first time around. I live in a six hundred year old thatched farmhouse in the English Home Counties. The house is haunted by two ghosts and plagued by five dogs. The ghosts are not unacceptably malignant..........well, most of the time, anyway ! I guess that the acid test is would I sleep there on my own ? Not at first, but my then 13 ( now 21 ) year old daughter never batted an eyelid at the ghosts, so I've learnt no to. Even the dogs, though at first very hostile to the spooks, have become tolerant and accepting of themConversations
