I'm normalized

Hello fellow researchers and fans of DNA who just happen to be glancing this way.  As I have very little privacy at work, I will utilize this space as a bit of a support group.  If there is something you find this space specifically lacking, please feel free to let me know.  I will evaluate the query and act accordingly.

The basics:
I do have one college degree.
The best part about my job is helping people cope with multiple simultaneous stressors
The worst part about my job is dealing with people who are convinced that everything around them falls into the SEP feild
I move often, and it's more habit now than anything.  I feel uncomfortable living anywhere more than 3 years.
My close friends tend to be "misfits" in that they fall into engineering fields or other science based fields.  This is odd as my job falls into NONE of those typical categories.
I admire people who laugh in the face of adversity, even when they KNOW that the adversity will best them.  Sometimes it may be stupidity, sometimes it may be in the name of "research".
I love sports that are NOT team based.  Team sports foster the ability to blame others for one's own failings.

Well, that gives you some basics.  Feel free to ask about the rest.
