That was exactly what I wanted! My main purpose in creating the Entry was to explain the two different sides of the holiday. I only came across it myself about 10 years ago when I first attended the Greek Orthodox celebration.
I enjoy learning about things about different cultures.

I also loved the baptism graphic. I actually lifted a copy and added it to my John the Baptist entry (a second, it already has my photo of a stained glass window as the lead picture).
I was brought up a Christian, was baptised as a baby & confirmed as a teenager. I was also a Sunday School teacher to little ones as a teenager. Then I discovered astronomy, and the apparent age of the Universe. I am no longer religious per se, but religion has its place (loved the Richard III dedication yesterday) and my local Vicar does visit my mother as and when called upon. But still some Bible stories resonate with me and I was always moved by John the Baptist, who always knew he was second best and didn't complain.
(I also prefer Buzz Aldrin to Neil Armstrong)
