Thanks for your kind words and support in another thread recently.

Also want to say how much I enjoy many of your choice postings.
The phrase 'rin tin zinc mining' for example.

I think the h2g2 editors are great except some of them are "jobsworth," lacking somewhat in wisdom and understanding. It is a form of institutionalism / bureaucracy. That particular editor joined H2G2 in 2009 and is perhaps a little green behind the ears. smiley - ok

I continue to be misunderstood and accused of things
beyond my ability to comprehend. Someone seems to think
it is my intention to be offensive. I could never be
deliberately offensive. That would be too easy.

Your tagline currently references Galbraith's Roost
which is an unknown factor to me and for which Google
produces only this:

http://www.betterfarming.com/online-news/pigeon-king%E2%80%99s-northern-roost-sold-3326

The next six or seven google links are all to your h2g2 conversations,
and after that there are just random coincidences of the words
Galbraith and Roost.

So I'm admitting I'm stumped and curious and hoping
you will enlighten me.

Galbraith's Roost is my own phrase ... combining John Kenneth Galbraith with the phrase chickens coming home to roost. I had just read Galbraith's The Affluent Society (1958) and realised that he more or less correctly appraised the economic paradigm being espoused and that this would lead to what we have today ... unbelievable wealth inequalities, economic instability and huge financial collapses ... so what better place is there to survey the current economic climate than from Galbraith's roost ... it could also be argued that the present globalised world is Galbraith's roost smiley - ok

Seems to be a lot of oxygen, bit of helium, fair chunks of
iron and some mysterious, quite likely previously unknown -
and therefore not of this earth - gaseous material with an
illuminating, often effervescent property.

I do recall the day you went for the double A in Aart and
came to a conclusion that you were simply being ironic in
an overt attempt to retain first place in alpabetic lists. I've
no problem with anyone wanting to pride a place on Aark-A.

Of course we all see the whirled through our own bloodshot
eyes and my use of the ~ tildes ~ is just meant to make my
name stand out in a column list when scanning for my latest
posting in any conversation. That the site's alpha-settings now
always list me first, even before triple A names, was unforeseen.

PS:
For the record I take Saturnalian Sybarite
to mean a happy drunk. The best kind!

And Stone Aart only confuses Google search.
It asks if I meant Stone Art and it offers no
opportunity for a response which would be:
No, if I meant that I'da typed that.
