Hi through the Front Page - clicking on "askh2g2" gives a list of conversations. Once I contribute to a conversation the thread appears on my personal space. On the thread at the bottom there is a link back to the conversation list.

I haven't yet had the time to put anything on my personal space.

The H2G2 moderators seem to indicate they will have the site up and running as they want it in a month or two. At least that is what I can determine from their contributions to your thread.

The key to new H2G2's survival I think will be whether or not they can attract many new members onto the site. I assume the heart of H2G2 will be the peer articles and the conversations arising from it.

The object of the thread I picked your post out of is related to 'My Space' that is the centre of your activities on the site.
You can choose to do nothing as you have. It does help however if you give the bare minimum eg. Name Rank and Number the name of the thread you posted in. (Read post 1:- F19585?thread=8284973 )
Your opinion hardly counts when you have not taken a single action that effects you Personal Space other than posting to conversations.
The site is perfectly functional and will evolve as time goes by and those volunteers who have taken on the job find the time, the inspiration and motivation to push it forward.
Enjoy yourself on the site there is much going on.
Take a couple of minutes to stick something on your space, it only takes a minute and it is editable.
My first post was simply "Just Looking" I had updated it within a few posts, following my Welcome message.
