teaching in Saudi but go over the causeway linked to Bahrain every weekend which here means I go over Thursday lunchtime to Bahrain and come back to Saudi early Sunday morning.

Fortunately no! Most of the (ongoing) unrest in Bahrain is confined to villages. I stay in capital city and even when we do go out for a desert BBQ/drink, I've never witnessed unrest, but it does go on.

Did you get anything like the hail I saw in Devon/Cornwall a couple of days ago?

they said that for Yorkshire, we should have torrential rain from last Fri to Sunhere I didn't see anyand only had a drizzle this evening (mon)
