... and it might not be very often, but Good Morning!
I can see you snuggling up to me on the leader board of the quiz.

I hate the country! Hills that block mobile phone signals, rain, mud, more rain, more mud etc. Do I really want to live in it? No big shopping malls, no multiplex cinemas, no concrete.

Nice to get out once in a while, isn't it
*looks deep into crystal ball*
I forsee many trips to large cities, nearby!
I see many hours spent huddled in front of a PC monitor, for warmth and comfort

Although I know you are far away right now, I just wanted to stop by and say hello. Many thanks for all support over the past few weeks. I'm here again now, and happy to be back. Lots to catch up on.

Posting to keep this up the top of your list
Mostly as a reminder to look at my journal. I'm so sad, aren't I
Wallow, wallow, wallow. (that's self pity, that is!!!!)
Only joking. It actually makes it harder, knowing you now have access, but no time. Be well,

Just had a look at the holiday destination. WOW! I bet you had a great time. Very different from RL. It looks like just the place for a coelacanth to live I think. There are some around. It's just a shame you had to get straight back to work with no time to adjust. You probably needed it, to put the memories in order and file them away for times when you want them. I know that I like to do that after a good day out. Useful things, happy memories. Lurk here! http://www.h2g2.com/F30517?thread=83789 I was itching to post and let him know someone does read it! ><>

Thank you for looking.
I agree, I really could have used some time on my return, but it was not to be.
I also agree, most interesting. I would love to post something.
How are you today?
Just thought I would have a quick check online, get mail etc.
so I won't be on for long.

Been here on and off for most of the day! Backlog to read, new places to discover, e mails to read through. Rain, wind, potential floods. But off here very soon. Good to see you

You to.
Going now, but might be back later.
No time for much now, and nobody has emailed me Not even my father, but then I do need to email him, so that will be my next task, along with printing off Streetfinder maps for impending trip.
Just remember to batton down the hatches and splice the mainbrace, and you should get through
Speak to you later.

Seen this?
"Following the success of his recent Radio 4 series, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Future, the BBC are hosting a live webchat with Douglas Adams on Wednesday 8 November, 7 - 8pm GMT."
Clogged up site for all of us and a busy night for ACES. If I were you, I'd stay away from the site for a few days.
What's that?
Oh yes
Hey there ACE

In the immortal words 'Run Away, Run Away!'
I am annoyed that I missed the broadcast, actually. But I didn't have time to set up the tape recorder. After the disaster of my last attempt (where my tape machine chewed up my precious Radio Scotland interview) I think I won't be using the tape deck on that machine again.
Thanks for the warning though. One less item to check if I get to a library while on my travels.
Hey there ACE

Babel
You do know that you can down load the programmes from the BBC site, don't you?
Saves setting up the tape recorder but fills up your hard disc
