LOL
Excellent accent
Love it her? Me too!
Reluctant as I am to leave the cosy snuggle, I have a few things that need my attention.
So,
later.

*checks the medical cabinet just in case painkillers are needed, and sets the bell on the phones to "Sssh - Not so loud" setting.
The "Burger King" flange on the junk food detector needs replacing, there are old newspapers, mugs and biscuit crumbs everywhere, the flowers have seen better days and there are no more choccys.
Coelacanth tuts and shakes her head. She sticks up POST IT NOTE "Major refurbishment planned for next week. Please clear by tonight."

Absolutely! They started at 4pm, and I got ther at 5.30, having had a quick shower and shave, and it was in full swing. The food and drink were flowing and there were about 20 adults and as many kids. Lots of bikes and carts and dogs and cats and stuff. I spent most of my time looking after some of the kids, because for some strange reason, they like me and I get on well with them. Something to do with mental age no doubt! It slowly wound down at about 1am. I got to bed at 1.45, after a quiet cup of tea and a goggle at the box, which was quite good as they showed the making of Robbie Williams last video.
Slept till about 12. Luxury. I see we have all your good weather now, I didn't deliberately send the rain south, it must have come across the channel when you sent the good stuff up north
Nice email btw. I must learn how to do all that embeded sounds and stuff. Made me laugh. what about you? Quiet morning?

How strange! I also watched the Robbie Williams prog. Synchronicity
Silent morning, but read SMS sent by very drunk friend at 2.30. Sent e mails, phoned YL (out but had nice chat to another protegee of mine who shares house and also does same job - I trained them both). Played on h2g2.
Still loads of rain. Want it back?
Glad you got mail OK. I knew you'd like it!

Did I send you an email about books?
I know I sent it but it got returned, I just don't know if I resent it.

No mail.
Off now cos I forget to eat. Then it would appear that a bit of a slob has lived in my house for the day as there seems to be loads to tidy up. *Looks around but is very confused by who could have left things all over the place*
Phones busy later?
The golden flash
Babel17 Posted Jul 30, 2000
Will remail tomorrow then, as it is in the house.
Phones should be fine later on
Sorry, have been chatting to my colleague here, so hopefully you will log on here before checking the phones later.
Just use first name rather than the serious title(keep that one for the normal working day, outwith normal just use first, less hastle)

Just going to grab a bite to eat (healthy pasta dish brought from home so no alarms should go off) so, say half an hour or so?
Do you want to, or shall I?

coelacanth Posted Jul 30, 2000
At your convenience Mr Bond.
I would not want to interrupt a healthy meal there.

Goodnight, safe journey and sleep well.

It's 11.48pm on a Sunday night, and I'm here!
*remembers that his desk is quite untidy and proceeds to clear the weekends debris into a large black bag, empties the bins and dusts and polishes the desk, monitor, keyboard etc.
Pops a fresh sachet in the room freshner, throws out the old flowers and replaces with a single pale pink rose, a single dew drop glistens on a petal. There is a freshly brewed pot of tea and two fine china cups on a tray inone corner. He sits back and waits, deciding he better print some stuff off while he has the time*

Babel17 Posted Jul 30, 2000
Oh well, 01.46 and the printing is done, and stood up too!
Never mind, at least the office is tidy.
And I have just unlurked with the grace of an Illusionist and much
too! So it's off to bed for me.
OXO's for the morning.
*makes fresh tea and leaves in flask, for breakfast*
