Talking on the other thread reminded me; you want me to put you on the Scottish researchers page? I created it as I figured it might make organising future meets easier. Besides, if the Aussies et al can have one, so can we

This idea of a mini-meet came by a rather roundabout route.
I had asked SPINY if he had recorded Omnibus from last weekend and if he had perhaps we could get together soon, but he hadn't though he was up for the getting together bit. Next thing I know someone else had said they would suggest next week ie after 19th cos thsy might be coming up to see something at the Festival. A mini-midweek meet might not be out of the question. I am certainly free that week, tho am away as of Fri 24th for the weekend. Just a thought.

I'm currently sitting at my work computer, trying to make a start on the conclusions chapter for my thesis. But I seem to be spending most of the time posting here 
Hmmm... midweek in Edinburgh. I could nip over for a pint or two in the evening maybe...

Hi there B-17,
Thought I'd come by and say hello, haven't talked to you for a while, not since you were trying to convince me that all H2G2 entities were nice people really when you met them face to face (hence this seemed an appropriate place to come). Thanks for that. I did eventually go to the Manchester meet, as myself, and needn't have worried about a thing. Here's an

Had the best night out I've had in a long while meeting all those friendly other entities. Sorry I missed the London meet, looked from the pictures like that was a lot of fun too.
