Thanks OP Appreciate it. You know that. I have come to a bit of a decision with regards to work for now. I have decided to stick it here (I know, I know) for the next few months and grab as much money as I can, then I will see where I am going, once again, and make a decision towards xmas.
So all your weekends are full, OP? Cool. I am sure all will be well in the new job, just chill out this weekend, get the brain in gear for monday and ease gently in. At least ti shouldn't all be too new for you. Just different working practices. Do you have to wear a shirt and tie? Everyone here is meant to. Since I don't have to wear mine so much, want me to send down a spare tie or two. You caould have one of my BofS ones if you want. That would be funny to wear

Well it turned out that when I decided to stay and make as much a go of it as possible, along came the thought of the job I'll be going to on monday.
At least I was able to make the right noises about knowing where to find the info I might need in the new job, even if I don't really know it just yet. It's all big database apps and I know not a great deal about sql databases just yet
Casual clothes all round (turns to a different camera - nice). I only turned up for the first interview in suit and tie. The comments were made about both places of work that the only time people wear ties to work is when they're off for interviews.
Tomorrow night might well be full on. I'll be up in Bangor for an evening of drunkeness as one of the people I lived there with at uni is having his stag do there.

Oh lucky you. I could do without the shirt and tie. I suppose if they do build the new 'Second site' and we do end up working from there, then we will be the only people there, so we may end up in casual clothes. (of course I doubt I will still be in this job come that auspicious time) Anyway, enjoy the weekend. Another Stag-do, eh? take it easy now. Don't want you feeling too rough for the new start next week. As to going foward, well, as I said bide my time and see what happens. If I can get an idea of some other direction to go in I won't hesitate to pursue it, but you'll know about that when it happens. ( Great! )
