I just popped over to see you because I read your recommendation of Wazungu's excellent safari article. You seem a nice and discerning sort of person, but I'm distressed to find you don't appreciate bugs. I wonder if I can interest you in reading my little article on cicadas, who are really nice bugs and never bite or sting anyone. You'll find it here: http://www.h2g2.com/A444197 if you can bring yourself to have a look. Bugs can be interesting, I promise. If you don't think so after reading about cicadas, feel free to come and blow me a raspberry.

glad you saw that. i am not sure if i am actually a Scout yet, because i only asked 2 days ago, but i am going to look for articles anyway. i like bugs. i have a preying mantis t-shirt, a tarantula t-shirt, a moth t-shirt... i just think they're neat. i will pop right over to your article now.

I can see you're going to be a wonderful scout. My cicada article's already in the pipe line on it's way to the editors though. Thank you very much for liking it. There must be a way of finding out whether an article's been recommended yet or not, mustn't there? I expect you'll need to ask the scout master or head scout or whoever seems to know about such things.
Good luck with your scouting!
