Ah ~ so i'll actually have to concentrate the first time i read it instead of skimming through at high speed like i usually do.
I normally save the proper read for the second or third go around.
Probably why i had a prob with his stuff before

It's worth the effort. Once you get into the flow, they all tie together. Try one of the newest, White Wolf. You'll love Skilgannon (cool name)The Damned.

Did you hear Hollywood is going to try its hand at the Rice Burroughs books. Working title is John Carter of Mars.
Apparently Rodriguez(sp) was going to direct but after he got kicked out of the directors guild over Sin City they're going to use the guy who did Sky Captain of Tomorrow.

They were talking about that years ago, when John Saxon (guy with all the suitcases in Enter the Dragon) was in his prime. Most recently, they were planning to shoot one with Captain Carter being played by (Honest !) Tom Hanks ! As the books contain more alien beings, races, monsters and animals per book than Star Trek managed in an entire season, Then you're talking about a lot of GreenScreen work- I think the Sky Captain guy could do it. What did you think of the books ? What do you think of a film ? How are you today ? XXX

Doing ok today,
Just wish it would cheer up outside.
Tom Hanks ~ yuck!
How to ruin a great book ~ they were some of the first sci-fi i read and though they aren't great i always like them.
I love the idea of a film though i'd have loved Rodriguez to do it ~ i can't wait to see Sin City.
It'll have to be all blue screen stuff and i suppose that means it'll be awhile before it shows up.
How's you today?

Missing Pixel. I thought Dune ("Doon") was a bit dry. (no pun)The film version livened it up a bit, but the recent version in three parts -William Hurt as Duke Leto - brought it to life. Maybe a film Of Princess of Mars will work; it did for Tarzan ! Have a freind in the movies business, who saw a recent cut of Sin City. says it fng ROCKS! It's exactly like the graphic, and Marv must be seen to be beleived. Won't be long either- they're trying for a summer release to tie in with Christmas DVD release. We'll see.....

They had some great stills in the mail at the weekend and it looks amazing.
Couldn't believe it when they chucked Rodriguez out of the directors guild 'cos he listed Frank Miller as another director.
So tight of them.
Didn't see the mini series yet ~ don't have sky.
Too tempting i'd sit around watching tv all day instead of working ~ not so great with the will power.
