2013 Calendar

As I hope everyone has seen that there are cards for this year's calendar on Trello. Please submit all your pictures by the end of August. If we do not have enough pictures then there will be no calendar. 
I'm sorry if this sounds like submissions close very early, but I do not want to do it all in a rush like last year. And this way people can order their calendar early enough for Christmas.
I hope you all have a lot of good photos again.

Community Artists - new code of conduct

I know it's just Monday and I'm not properly awake yet myself - first day of work after 2 weeks of holidays - but I have something every Community Artist should read.
All the time a lot of discussions about how to improve work processes, solutions for problems of various kinds and general ideas are going on in the so-called 'behind the scenes'. One of these discussions of the team leaders led to a document that in fact states the obvious but we thought it would be good to have it written somewhere. The result is a Volunteer Code Of Conduct for all volunteers on h2g2.

important message to all Artists

As we have already mentioned on Noesis, we have explored an alternative to our current forums. Pastey has found Trello, which seems to be a really good option. It is certainly a lot more tidy than Noesis and lets us find things more easily. We would now like to get all Artists to Trello to see if it really works as good as we think it does.
To be able to invite you to Trello we need your email address, so please write us an email to: artists at h2g2 dot com
We will not hand your email address to anyone else, don't worry.
You also don't have to register on Trello with your real name, your h2g2 name is just fine.
We also would like to invite you to join us on skype. This is absolutely voluntarily, if you don't like skype or instant messengers in general you don't have to come, but we'd be happy to have you there. Other volunteers are on skype, too and we'd have a separate artists chat. If you like to join us just send us your skype name when you write the email for Trello.
We hope to get all your addresses soon.
