Having been part of the original AViator's group, I would once more volunteer to do 'voice overs' plays, sketches or powims

Hurrah!

aviators sounds fun, but having a rather heavy glasgow(ish) accent i think it might be something to watch and listen to rather than record
Hurrah!

No... Give it a try, accents make the world go round!
Having worked with a couple of Glaswegians, I would beg that you don't talk too fast!
Hurrah!

having lived in Lancashire the past six years...
I've learned to slow down a little
but I still find i have to repeat myself quite often,
its even worse when I'm on the phone
Hurrah!

*giggles*
When working for an Account, I once had to take a phone call from the Inland Revenue in Cumbernauld. I couldn't understand a word she said! Neither could my other two colleagues.
Just then, another colleague came back from lunch - a fellow Glaswegian. Well! The conversation (one sided) sounded like a foreign language! We'd never heard her talk that fast before!
She sorted the problem within 2 minutes, but their conversation lasted about 30 minutes.
Hurrah!

we do have a habit of talking rather quickly not helped by the accent which can be difficult to understand at times I once got accused of sounding like rab c nesbitt which was the highest of insults I was twelve at the time and visiting england for the first time ever,
Hurrah!

We asked our colleague if Russ Abbott was really saying anything when he seemed to be talking jibberish in a Scottish accent....
... She roared laughing, and, nodding with tears in her eyes, said 'Yes'!
Hurrah!

"I once got accused of sounding like rab c nesbitt which was the highest of insults" (Dr Anthea)
The most insulting thing about Rab C was that the BBC in England decided to show it with subtitles.
Hurrah!
