Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive

Hi Doormouse,

I have just opened a Natural History Museum at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A416819 and I wanted to ask you two things.

Firstly, are you happy to be in the museum (you only have to stand still when there are visitors)? Secondly, may I link from your name in the museum to your Space?

Sure, I'm fine with being part of your museum exhibit, as long as you don't mind the fact that I'll probably nod off more than a few times while just standing there. Nothing quite like standing around to wear out a dormouse, ya know?

Just a few questions, though. If you're going to list me, could you please list me the way I spell my name, TheDormouse? One word, only one "O" (which is, I think, the correct spelling). And go ahead and link with my page, since I noticed you've done that with other critters in your exhibit.

I just did a quick browse-through, and what you've done looks really neat. I hadn't realized there were so many people on here w/ animal names. Is there any place on here that lists how many total h2g2 researchers there are, or should I go by what my assigned number is and assume it is somewhere around that figure? What about stats listing geographical locations of the researchers? Does your museum have any sort of statistics like that?

Hi Dormouse,

Sorry about the spelling error.

Total number of researchers is on this page: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/info

There is a thread in which people state where they are from. I can't remember which forum that is in. It turns up on the info page from time to time. I don't think there are any statistics since there is no requirement to state where you're from at any stage of the registration process.

Thanks for the info, and thanks for adding me to your collection of critters!

The Natural History Museum is taking shape. I have designed a logo for it and I hope you will display it on your user page. Here is the code for the logo and links for GuideML pages. It can be modified for HTML pages by changing the LINK tags to HTML anchors.
